BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

‘Client’ refers to the person booking the services of Alev Miller. This person is responsible for all payments, decisions, and communication regarding this booking.

These terms and conditions accompany your wedding booking. By booking with Alev Miller, you accept that it is subject to the terms and conditions as set out below in their entirety.

Please make sure you have read and understood the section about cancellations and postponements.

SERVICES & PAYMENTS

· The full balance is due four weeks prior to the wedding date. Failure to pay by this date may result in cancellation of services, with no refund of the deposit.

· Once the booking is confirmed, changes cannot be made to the number of hair or makeup services booked. Services may, however, be transferred to other bridal party members. The quote accepted will be the final payable balance.

· If additional services are requested at the time of the event and time permits, these will be payable on the day of the wedding. The cost of extra services will be £90 per hair or makeup application.

· If the size of the party or timing requires an additional artist/assistant, the client will be informed and charged £100 per assistant. This decision will be made by the Artist based on schedule and logistics.

· If any member of the party is unavailable at the scheduled time, services may be forfeited without refund. The Artist is not responsible for delays caused by lateness or unprepared clients.

TRAVEL & TIMING

· Location changes are charged at £100 per new location the Artist is required to travel to. This does not include the travel cost.

· TRAVEL RATE: A travel fee of 60p per mile is applicable for all weddings.

· HOURLY RATE: A rate of £100 per hour will be applied to the final balance if touch-up services are required after the main services are complete.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY

· A table, chair and access to electricity are required for all services.

· If there is any damage caused to the Artist’s kit by the client or their bridal party, the client will be charged the full cost of replacement.

· The Artist is not responsible for any accident or harm caused through the use of kit tools.

· The client is responsible for keeping children away from heated appliances.

· No makeup services will be available for anyone with an infectious illness. It is at the Artist’s discretion to decline anyone who appears unwell.

CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENTS

· The retainer/deposit paid by the client is non-refundable under any circumstances.

· Cancellations within eight weeks of the wedding date will result in 100% of the remaining balance being payable to Alev Miller.

· Postponements will be judged based on whether the Artist is available to fulfil the new date. If the Artist is unavailable, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the policy above.

MISCELLANEOUS

· It is the client’s responsibility to inform the Artist of any known allergies or sensitivities prior to the application of any products. The Artist will not be held liable for reactions that occur if this information is not disclosed.

· The Artist cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions or complications resulting from the use or application of makeup products.

· Any photographs taken by the Artist on the day of the trial, wedding, or event may be used for promotional purposes (e.g. website, social media, printed materials) unless otherwise agreed upon prior to the event.

· In the unlikely event that the Artist is unable to attend due to illness, accident, or other circumstances beyond their control (e.g. natural disaster, travel restrictions), every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement. If no replacement can be found and no rescheduled date is agreed, a refund will be issued for any services not provided.
