TRIALS
HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIAL

A hair and makeup trial is required for every bridal booking and takes place at my North London Studio.

Trials can take place up to 6 months before your wedding.
HOW LONG
Trials can take up to 1.5 hours a single service and up to 3.5 hours for hair and makeup.
WHAT WE'LL DO
This is where we will work through your references your dress or outfit, hair, skin, overall styling and anything you definitely do or don't want. We will refine everything until we've got the wedding day look. You can bring any accessories you want to try.
I will also make a note of any we may need to add to your schedule. Your final schedule will be ready after your trial.

FAQ
HOW DO I SECURE MY WEDDING DATE?
Your date is secured once your booking fee and trial have been paid for. Due to high demand dates cannot be held provisionally.
DO I NEED A TRIAL?
Yes. A hair and make-up trial is required for every bridal booking and is booked separately at £300.12. Take place at my North London studio usually around three months before your wedding but anywhere up to 6 is fine. I can accommodate weekend trials between January - March. Weekday trials take place on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Please allow up to 3.5 hours for your hair and makeup trial.
Trial dates and times can rescheduled, subject to availability. Your wedding date remains secure.
HOW LONG DOES HAIR AND MAKEUP TAKE?
I allow approximately three hours for bridal hair and makeup on the morning of the wedding. I will create a full schedule for your booking so everyone knows exactly where they need to be and when. You can find a draft schedule here.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A LARGER WEDDING PARTY?
Yes. I personally take on a maximum of four services on the wedding morning. For larger parties I can arrange an additional experienced artists to work alongside me. Additional artist booking and coordination is £150 plus £100 per hair or makeup service.
DO YOU WORK WITH CURLY AND TEXTURED HAIR?
Yes. Working with natural hair texture is a big part of what I do. Whether you want to wear your curls exactly as they are, enhanced them or incorporate your natural texture into a style, we'll work with your hair rather than against it.
DO YOU WORK WITH ALL SKIN TONES?
Yes. My professional kit is built to work for every single skin tones and types. Products, coverage and finishes will be tailored to you.
DO YOU WORK WITH LGBTQ+ COUPLES?
Yes. I work with couples of all genders and sexualities. Everyone is welcome in my chair. Creating an inclusive, respectful space has always been very important important to me and it still is.
WHAT IF I'M NOT SURE ABOUT MY WEDDING HAIR AND MAKEUP STYLE?
You don't have to arrive with every detail decided. References are useful even if they're a collection of things you like rather than one exact look. If you need a base, I will start with colours that naturally enhance your features and together we'll work from there to achieve a hair and makeup that translates into the perfect style for you.
CAN I CHANGE THE NUMBER OF SERVICES?
Services can be swapped where possible, but your booking is based on the package and services agreed when your deposit is paid, so the total booking value cannot be reduced. Additional services can be added subject to availability and timings.
WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL?
Travel within London is included in the bridal package. Travel anywhere outside London is quoted separately.
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF LONDON?
Yes. Weddings requiring more than 1.5 hours travel are treated as destination bookings. Depending on the location and start time a travel day may be required before the wedding. And overnight stay and travel day after the wedding will also be required. Accommodation and associated fees will be included in your individual quote.
WHEN IS THE FINAL BALANCE DUE?
Your final balance is due four weeks before your wedding.
